How secure are MacStadium data centers?
There are global-standard security practices in place at all MacStadium facilities to make sure your servers and data are always safe from unauthorized access. We’ve also worked with many large customers to develop custom, isolated environments with enhanced security within our existing solution to meet their internal security requirements.
You can trust us to protect your intellectual property and customer data in our data centers.
MacStadium’s first data center and headquarters reside within a privately-owned-and-operated facility in Atlanta, Georgia. The facility contains all of the modern security measures you would expect from a modern data center including:
- Entry points with badge-only access and biometric readers
- On-site security staff and patrols
- IP camera video surveillance with 90+ days of recording
- Key-only locked cages
- 24×7 on-premise staff
- Visitor sign-in with ID tracking
MacStadium’s Atlanta data center is a fully audited facility with SSAE-16/SAS-70 Type 2 certification and a PCI cardholder environment certification. We are serious about the security, reliability, and privacy of our facilities and our team invests time and resources to have an independent CPA firm provide a full audit and report on our operations each year.
